Terms & Conditions 


- Lesson 24 Hour Cancellation Policy. A Driving Lesson Reminder will be sent to the Pupil the day before by the Instructor. If a lesson is cancelled within 24 hours of notice, the lesson will be charged at the full rate.


- Credit will not be given to take lessons now and pay later. Payment will be made at the end of each lesson unless a block booking payment has been made already.


- It is a Legal Requirement for all candidates wanting to learn to drive to have in their possession a provisional or full UK driving Licence. Lessons cannot be undertaken if the candidate does not have a provisional or full UK driver's licence as this is a criminal offence. All candidates must present their licence to their driving instructor upon their first driving lesson to confirm their identity. Any candidate who can not or doesn't produce their licence on their first driving lesson will be charged for that lesson.


- Each lesson booked will last for the duration of 1, 1.5 or 2 hours from when the Driving Instructor arrives at the pupils Address or pick-up location at the pre-arranged appointment time.


- Y.M Driving School LTD is a Cash business. We will accept payments for all Driving Lessons by Cash only. Payments are only accepted by Bank Transfer or Paypal if your Driving Instructor approves


- The Pupil may be permitted to use the Instructors car for their Driving Test, only if the Driving Instructor is satisfied that the pupil is at the required standard. The Length of time required for a Driving Test is a minimum 2 hour session. The Test Fee is a separate price, due to the use of the car for test and training before test time. See prices for further information.


- The pupil must not be under the influence of any Alcohol, Drugs or Medication which may affect their driving. If so, this will result in the lesson being cancelled and full payment being made to the Instructor.


- Our Instructors are all franchisee's. This means they are classed as 3rd party and trade under the Brand of Y.M Driving Academy Ltd. All pupil's personal data and their records are stored and secure. And are all compliant with all Data protection and GDPR law.


- The pupil agrees to the terms and conditions above, this being recognized by paying for the Driving Lessons at the present rates included in our price list.
